The horrific accident involving Khalwale's family occurred at Kaimosi.

Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwales wife and four of his children were on Sunday involved in a horrific accident at Kaimosi.

The vehicle, which had veered off the road, hit a banana tree before it landed by the roadside.

The Kakamega Senator went to Twitter to thank God for the safety of his family.

Khalwale tweeted: "My wives & I thank God for saving our 4 children in this afternoon's accident at Kaimosi. Kudos my brave son Tigana for controlling the car."
