Boni Khalwale lands in trouble with KOT over his late night tweet about Raila Odinga and Prof George Magoha

Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has been under fire with a section of Kenyans on Twitter after putting out a tweet castigating ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga and Professor George Magoha.

Khalwale, who is now a loyal supporter of Deputy President William Ruto, mentioned that Odinga is no longer their leader after he replaced Moses Wetangula with Siaya Senator James Orengo as minority leader and Professor Magoha for Rashid Echesa.

“Listen! @RailaOdinga is NOT our leader. Out of the handshake he has replaced us with his kinsmen from Siaya. Sen Orengo for @Wetangulam and Prof Magoha for Rashid Echesa” reads Khalwale’s tweet.

Hostile reception

The tweet irked Netizens with many calling him out for scooping too low in a bid to remain relevant in the political world.

Director of communications at ODM Party Phillip Etale, joined the conversation, stating that nowadays nobody cares about what he puts out there.

“Say that to the birds Mr Omwinyambi. Nowadays nobody cares about what you yap. The cheque is ready after this tweet” wrote Etale.
