The High Court on Wednesday awarded Sh8 million to three Kenyans who were arrested and charged on suspicion of masterminding a terror attack in Uganda.

Yahya Mbuthia, Mohamed Hamid, and Adan Abdow successfully convinced the Justice David Majanja that their rights were violated after Kenya handed them over to the Ugandan authorities following a 2010 bombing incident.
The incident came a day after the Alshabaab launched a terror attack at Dusit Hotel in Nairobi's Riverside Drive, leaving at least 14 people dead and several others injured.
On Monday, the judiciary released one of the suspects arrested in connection with the Westgate terror attack that left 67 people dead.
