Serial incidences

This comes hardly a week after a similar incidence occurred in Kilifi’s counterpart’s home Amason Kingi, where thugs made away with property of unknown value. Already the police are pursuing this incidence.

The security of governors, has attracted attention in the recent past after Mombasa and Kilifi governors’ security details were recalled by the government, in what the government termed as “normal reshuffle’’, causing tension amongst the affected governors.

The politicians from the coast are however believed to be critical of the government, allegations Coast regional coordinator Nelson Marwa has since rubbished. Marwa said the reshuffle were part of the plan to revamp security for the governors.

Earlier last month, a businessman and a private security guard were shot and seriously wounded in a robbery at Karen, Nairobi.
