Since the family has been engaged in a tussle with Owuor, sleuths will as well as try to establish whether there have been withdrawals from the account and by whom.

Prophet Owuor was accused by the family of coercing Ms Muthoni to appoint Lilly Njage, a follower of the ‘prophet’, as a co-director in Shaba Investments Limited that owns and manages the property.

In her defence, Ms Muthoni told journalists that she noticed Ms Njagi was forgetful and took over her finances to keep her from being exploited.

The family further claimed that Owuor has been receiving millions of shillings in monthly rent payments from the apartments located in Westlands and Riverside Drive.

Also of interest to detectives is the sale of 108 acres of her land in Thika that was sold in 2011 at a cost of Ksh850,770,000.
