Did I snatch your wife? Moha Jichopevu hits back after attack from cartoonist

Ali is not happy

Nyali MP Mohammed Ali (Twitter)

Nyali MP Mohammed Ali on Thursday morning angrily responded to an attack made against him by cartoonist and journalist Patrick Gathara.

Gathara tweeted a question asking if Ali had traveled alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta during the Russian summit.

"Did @MohaJichoPevu and @orengo_james dandia this trip like they did the World Cup one?" Gathara tweeted.

He went on to accuse the former Jicho Pevu producer of being a joy rider during the 2018 World Cup which was also held in Russia.

Buda acha feelings za ovyo. Kwani nilikunyang'anya bibi (Man, stop these silly feelings. Did I snatch your wife?),” the MP tweeted.

Ali has in the past defended his attendance to the World Cup where was among a controversial delegation of about 20 MPs.

Interestingly, both Gathara and Ali have previously worked at the Standard Group and hailed for their public interest journalistic work.

Gathara is a reputed cartoonist while Ali was a reputed investigative journalist before joining politics.
