The man was reportedly stabbed to death when a fight erupted between two rival groups while another person was injured during the scuffle.

Confirming the report Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome divulged that the two were posting campaign posters on a wall near the Pangani Girls High School when the rival group ambushed them.

The Jubilee primaries for Nairobi County will see the Capital’s Senator Mike Sonko battle it out with former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth.

The two have been at loggerheads since they both announced interest in the City’s top seat.

Polling stations across the county were flooded with Jubilee supporters awaiting the nominations which will be a deciding factor on who will face off incumbent Governor Evans Kidero.
