A wind of change reminiscent of that which swept earlier this year across the United States and United Kingdom that saw the election and President Donald Trump and rise of Brexit respectively has been felt across some parts of the country.

A number of high profile politicians including incumbent Governors and MPs have been handed embarrassing defeats by relative newcomers at both the Jubilee and ODM party primaries.
