According to Mandogo the deputy president William Ruto is plotting to see him out of the race in the upcoming Jubilee nominations that will kick off on April 21, 2017.
While addressing resident of his County, Mandago said that he is aware of all the plans to rig him out of the elections.
”I know they want to rig the nominations in my County in favour of a certain candidate but I dare them let them try and they will see fire,” said Mandago.
Recently the Uasin Gishu governor has not been in good terms with the deputy president, a thing that might have ignited his fears in the upcoming race.
Over the weekend Buzeki held an Extravaganza in Eldoret to drum support for himself before the nominations day.
During the Extravaganza that had brought together a huge number of Uasin Gishu County residents, Buzeki declared that Mandago is not his competitor.
“Mandago is not even my competitor. I am competing against the problems of the people of Uasin Gishu. Other people are also free to vie for the seat and let the people decide,” he said.
Buzeki the flamboyant businessman has vowed that no amount of propaganda will derail his ambition of becoming the next governor of Uasin Gishu.
Bundotich urged the Kalenjin Council of Elders not to allow themselves to be used by Mandago to promote tribalism.
