IEBC official goes missing

An IEBC official has gone missing with just 8 days to the elections

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has stated that one of its officials has gone missing.

IEBC, through its official Twitter handle, said that one of its ICT managers went missing on Friday night and is yet to be traced.

The manager, believed to be Mr Christopher Musando, last sent a message to one of his colleagues at around 3am on Saturday morning.

The IEBC, family members and the police are working together to trace his whereabouts.

Mr Musando was the ICT director on an acting capacity after Mr James Muhati was sent on a 30-day compulsory leave on May 27 after failing to cooperate with the audit department.
