Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga

The sources who were talking to Nation Media revealed that Isaac Ruto will be joining Nasa on a condition that he receives equal status that other parties hold in Nasa.

Nasa co-principals Raila Odinga (ODM), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Moses Wetang’ula (Ford-K) met last week and approved the enjoining of the Bomet governor to their coalition.

Nasa who are made up of ODM, Amani National Congress (ANC), Wiper Movement Party and Ford Kenya held a meeting that will see Isaac Ruto joins the movement.

Nasa who promised to name their flag bearer after the Easter Holiday said they will nominate two members from Isaac Ruto’s side to join the team tasked with picking their presidential Candidate.

After the formation of Nasa Isaac Ruto was the first Governor to host the coalition at his home land promising to support their agenda to bring change to the Country.

However the Bomet governor has not be able to confirm the move to the Nasa Coalition.

If Isaac Ruto happens to join the coalition, Nasa and Jubilee will share the Rift Valley votes that were previous controlled by the Deputy President William Ruto.

The Nasa Coalition kicked off party nominations on Friday last week and so far ODM and Amani have been able to run party primaries in some parts of the country.
