Kabogo reveals how DP Ruto is splitting Uhuru's votes

Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has made outrageous remarks linking Deputy President William Ruto to the downfall of President Uhuru Kenyatta during the August 8 General Election.

Mr. Kabogo alleged that DP Ruto was splitting the votes of Kenyatta by causing conflict inside Jubilee.

"Ruto has spoiled for President Uhuru Kenyatta by urging residents to only vote for the party's nominees. It is okay if he is told this because Ruto is splitting Uhuru's votes," he said.

Kiambu Governor further claimed Mr. Ruto was using Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu to stop him from pursuing the Presidential seat in 2022.

Mr. Kabogo, who had earlier expressed interests in being Kenya's President, highlighted that Ruto was not guaranteed to clinch the position in the next General Election.

He divulged that he was also eying in the seat and would fight for it.

"I had said it a while back and I will asked. My main aim is to make the lives of Kenyans better but I am being fought by those who want to be President in 2022.We will not elect anyone in 2022 unless we see the work done. I am not going to deputise anyone. He can actually also be my deputy," Kabogo said.

The Governor, who recently defected from Jubilee after losing to Mr Waititu during the primaries, mentioned that he met 20 bloggers who vowed to vote for Presidential candidate Abduba Dida.
