Mutula Kilinzo Junior

Mutula Kilonzo Junior is the son of the former senator for Makueni county Hon Mutula Kilonzo. He is currently the senator for Makueni County and a member of wiper democratic movement Kenya. He won the senatorial seat after a by election after the death of his father.

Rosemary Odinga

Rosemary Odinga is a Kenyan of Luo descent; she is an entrepreneur and an advocate for alternative agriculture and proponent of social equality. She is best known as the only snail farmer in East Africa.

The charismatic lady is a daughter to Raila Odinga and Ida Odinga

Susan Kihika

Susan Kihika, born in 1974, is the daughter of the late Nakuru veteran Politician Kihika Kimani who earned repute in the 1970s and 1980s. He is the only Kenyan to ever get elected as MP of three different constituencies (Nakuru North, Laikipia West and Molo)

Stephen Kariuki

Steven Kariuki is a Kenyan politician and a Member of Parliament for  Mathare Constituency in Nairobi county.He was elected on an Orange Democratic Movement party ticket. He is the son to Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.

Although Steven Kariuki was elected on an ODM ticket he said he would defend his seat on Jubilee party ticket

Tom Kajwang

Tom Kajwang succeeded his brother the Late Otieno Kajwang in who was the Homabay Senator, although under wrangles with other potential candidates who were eyeing the seat.

President Uhuru Kenyatta

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta was born on 26th October 1961.

His father is Kenya's first president Jomo Kenyatta, who served from 1964 to 1978. He is the presidential candidate for the Jubilee Party and is seeking a re-election in the August polls. Mr Kenyatta ran unsuccessfully for president in 2002. He made a second stab on the presidency in 2007, but withdrew to support the then President Mwai Kibaki for re-election

Raila Odinga

The former Prime Minister was born on January 7, 1945 in Maseno of Kisumu County and son of Kenya’s first Vice President Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.

He is running through the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) affiliated to the new outfit National Super Alliance (NASA) with former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate.

In his vicious campaigns, Odinga’s focus is more on the youth and has in many cases promised to help them gain access to employment and education.

Gideon Moi

Gideon Moi  was born in 1964 and is a Kenyan politician. He is the youngest son of Kenya’s second president, Daniel arap Moi, and Lena Moi.

Gideon is the current Senator of Baringo County having been elected with a landslide win of over 80% trouncing his opponent Rev Jackson Kosgei. He is also the Chairman of Independence Party the Kenya Africa National Union. He is preceded as Party Chairman by Presidents Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel arap Moi and the current President, Uhuru Kenyatta.

Musalia Mudavadi

Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi is a Kenyan politician, who served as Vice President of Kenya in 2002 and as Deputy Prime Minister from 2008- 2012 May when he resigned officially to join the presidential race.

Musalai is the child of Moses Mudamba Mudavadi who an influential politician from Sabatia, Kenya, in the early post-independence years under former president Daniel Moi. He was the first patron of the Maragoli Cultural Festival until his death in 1989

Eugene Wamalwa

The Water CS Eugene Wamalwa inherited the Saboti constituency parliamentary seat in 2007, after the death of his brother Kijana Wamalwa.Eugene is still in the political arena.

The late Lorna died in a plane crash in Narok county in June 2008. Her sister,Lorna, succeeded her for the Sotik constituency parliamentary seat in a by-election in September 2008.

The Sotik Mp is currently the national Assembly deputy Speaker and she is vying for Bomet Governor Position.
