Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Mohammed Ali and ODM leader Raila Odinga

The allegations follow Sunday’s incident at Tononoka grounds, where Mr Abdalla attacked Ali and caused chaos compelling Governor Joho to abruptly end the rally at Tononoka grounds.

The former journalist has alleged that Mr Abdalla has been causing chaos and threatening residents in Nyali who are opposed to him

“Saedo threatens other aspirants not limited to aspiring members of the diverse political sets, immediately he knows or gets a rumour that they do not support him.

“This has culminated in him forming, funding and commanding a small group of militia that goes by the name of “Congo Zairwa” drawn from Ziwa la Ng’ombe and Kongowea. This illegal group is made up of drug addicts whom he enables in the form of hand-outs and empty promises,” part of the statement by Ali read.

Mr Ali, who is eying the Nyali parliamentary seat, revealed that Mr Abdalla was the one behind the recent chaos that were witnessed during Joho’s homecoming celebrations from the US.

“This is not the first time that he has done this to aspiring candidates in Nyali and the larger Mombasa County. Early this month during Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s homecoming celebrations the said aspirant with help from his hired goons threw a canister of tear gas on the podium throwing the whole forum into a limbo,” He continues.

The former Journalist wants ODM to take action against Mr Abdalla stating that his actions have brought more harm than good.
