The damming revelation came to light after Muthama alleged secret phone conversations leaked to the media.

In a report by the Nairobian the wealthy senator was on phone with a confidante of Kalonzo where he mentioned that he was in a position to destroy the former Vice President politically.

According to the details of the phone call, Mr Muthama bragged that he had created Kalonzo and was in a position to bring him down any time he wished to.

“I have now decided that come what may... but I’m the one who built Wiper, when you call him, tell him one thing I built in Wiper is him (Kalonzo) and when I start to bring it down, he will go down with it...I swear,” Nairobi quoted Muthama’s call.

The Machakos Senator has been in serious wrangles with the Wiper leading to him leaving the party.

In May Muthama announced that he will not be defending his seat in the August 8 Election.

In a press statement, the Senator mentioned that democracy was not demonstrated in the primaries and for this reason, he could no longer campaign for the Party.

He added that he had abandoned Wiper and would now focus his energies on campaigning for ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.

“I do not feel I have the face, anymore, to campaign or face our supporters in Wiper all over because the party has betrayed the people’s trust,” Muthama added.
