'Mwanaume amezaliwa siku moja na atakufa siku moja, siogopi kufa mimi', bitter Joho confronts GSU officers

The incensed governor heaving with emotion wondered what Kenya had come to by stopping him from carrying out his mandate.

Plain clothed and uniformed police officers stopped the governor’s convoy at Nyali Bridge, while on his way to the launch.  The police officers proceeded to intimidate and harass the vocal governor before ordering him to return to his office or home as seen by a video clip going rounds on Social media.

“This is backwardness because according to me that ferry is devolved function and affecys the lives of my people and I owe to be have been there lakini kama hamutaki ni sawa” A bitter Joho said.

Joho accused the officers of insulting him and calling him unprinted slurs.

“lakini huyu ametumia maneno mabaya wewe! I have marked you wewe” an angered Joho said pointing a finger at a plain clothed police officer with a walkie-talkie and a black cap.

The sultan of Mombasa added the government had resorted to threatening him with GSU officers but he will not bow down and was not afraid to die.

“There is nothing you can do to me Mnanitisha tisha nini hapa, mimi siogopi, huyu ni mtu mzima ongea kama mtu mzima mnanifukuza kama mwizi nimeibia nani mimi, mnanitisha tisha hapa na hizi binduki zenu, mwanaume amezaliwa siku moja na atakufa siku moja vitisho havifanyi kazi , siogopi kufa mimi” an emotional Joho said before he boarded into his vehicle heading to his office where he was detained by police officers.

The government laid the groundwork yesterday after it barred him from holding a parallel rally at Mvita yesterday citing low man power to secure the two venues.
