The court has made a ruling after a KANU official went to court

Earlier, the “ndaani ndani ndani” mantra curator was sued for disobeying an order from the KANU party to repeat nominations for Fafi Constituency Member of parliamentary seat in the just concluded nominations.
The order had been issued by the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal after an aspirant Mr Salah Yakub Farah filed a petition challenging the outcome of the nominations.
Mr Salat has been sentenced alongside his KANU elections board chairman Mr Edward Kivuvani.
The two are set to be jailed if they failed to pay a Sh200,000 fine to the court.
Equally, the tribunal has ordered the party led by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to hold fresh nominations within 12 hours.
