ODM makes controversial decision on Joho

ODM's latest decision on Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho is likely to cause a storm in the party.

The two had been summoned over the recent chaos that were witnessed in Migori county where hey held a meeting without Governor Ken Okoth's authorization.

Okoth stormed the meeting that had been convened by Joho,  Mohammed and Senator Anyang Nyong'o throwing the whole forum into a limbo.

The governor’s bodyguards shot in the air injuring Joho’s bodyguard in the process before the whole rally was brought to an abrupt end.

Interestingly, Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo faulted the ODM deputy party leader for the chaos leaving many surprised unto why he was removed from the disciplinary list.

"Our Deputy Party leader ought to have had courtesy to inform the Migori governor he was heading to his county," Mr. Midiwo stated.

Instead, ODM has now summoned nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro after she stormed their officers at Orange House in the company of her supporters.

Ongoro caused chaos at the party offices compelling police officers to fire in the air and disperse the rowdy crowd.

The irate youth took one of the senior ODM officials and beat him demanding to know why Ruaraka MP Tom Kajwang’ had been issued with a direct ticket while the nominated senator was running for the same position.

The nominated senator, who is yet to announce her new party, ditched ODM citing frustrations from the party with less than four months to the general elections.
