Mr. Odinga stated that the Opposition will use the drive dubbed, Truth and Electoral Justice Campaign to defend political rights of individuals throughout the country.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the former Prime Minister stated: “Today here in Mombasa we launch a National Campaign for Truth and Electoral Justice in Kenya. In this campaign, we will affirm our commitment to freedom, the rule of law and justice. We will defend our political right and democratic space."

The Opposition chief insisted that the just-concluded General Election was a total fraud instigated by the Jubilee Party.

He reiterated that NASA will not accept and move on following pressure from ‘inferior governance’.

“We will resist and disobey illegitimate computer-generated leaders and we will not relent until the voices of the people as expressed through the ballot are heard and respected.

“We shall not accept and move on,” Odinga said.

This comes days after NASA filed a petition at the Supreme Court challenging the declaration of President Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner in the Presidential race.

Odinga questioned how Mr. Kenyatta was able to maintain a 54-percent lead in almost all the counties highlighting that the IEBC system was tampered with to favor Jubilee.

He insisted that the Opposition team will prove the irregularities at the Supreme Court.

Also at the event, Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi said that they will want to see the judgment of all the seven judges who will be hearing the NASA petition.
