This were the sentiments he shared while apologizing to Nakuru residents during a campaign rally held in the county on Friday.

Isaac Rutto said he supported President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto during the March 4, 2013, general election for them to be freed from the ICC burden.

The Bomet Governor said he saw nothing good in the two but had a desire to have them freed from the Hague cases.

Rutto asked Nakuru residents to confidently vote NASA if they want to be freed from economic bondage.

"After we saw that Kenyans are suffering due to poverty subjected to them by Uhuru and Ruto, five of us talked and agreed on the way forward," he said.

"I assure you that you are safe in my hands unlike DP Ruto who is doing business," Rutto said, "When you vote NASA, you have voted me as Deputy Prime Minister."

He also claimed that Jubilee was spreading lies regarding the availability of subsidized maize flour in retail stores across the country.

"They are just using unga to play politics. The said maize flour is non-existent anywhere. It is only found in televisions," he said.

The governor is among four other NASA principals who have teamed up to support Raila Odinga’s presidential election bid in the upcoming general elections.

The National Super Alliance will on Saturday be holding campaigns in the larger Meru region.
