Speaking at Stedmark Gardens during a Team Nairobi strategy meeting, Mr. Sonko asked the independent candidates to drop their bids and join him, nominated MP Johnson Sakaja and Women Rep Rachel Shebesh to campaign for the ruling party across the City.

The flamboyant Senator stated that those who drop their ambition and join them, they were assured of positions in his Government - if he ousters incumbent Governor Evans Kidero.

"We will compensate those who will agree to step down. We will even accomodate them in our Government because we are sure we will win," he said

Sonko highlighted that the independent candidates only have up to Monday to make their decision.

"Go talk to these independent candidates and ask them to join our efforts, you can also give us their contacts so that we try and reach out to them. We can even reimburse part of what they have spent in their campaigns.

“But if they do not rescind their decision by Monday, we will go full throttle and treat them as our opponents," Sonko said.

He pleaded with the former Gatanga MP stating that his credentials would get him a position in Government as a Cabinet Secretary.

"It is the President who has directed that in Nairobi he wants us to vote six-piece," he noted.

Sonko threatened to launch a political war against candidates who will not join them.

"Those who will not toe the line will be our enemies. We will declare total war against them. We shall camp in their areas and tell the people why they should not be elected," Sonko divulged.

At the same time, Sonko apologised to Kenneth following their recent brawl noting: "I want to say sorry to PK because he may be bitter with me because of the comments I made on Citizen TV."

The meeting was also attended by Shebesh and Sakaja who together with Sonko have dubbed themselves Triple S.

The three leaders laid down an elaborate plan to clinch all the top Nairobi seats.
