In a Gazette notice released on Friday, Mr. Kenyatta appointed former Narok County Council chairman Senteu Ntoross as Kores' replacement at KMC.
Ntoross appointment is effective immediately and will chair the Commission for the next three years.\
"I Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-chief of the Defence Forces appoint Ntoros Senteu to be the Chairperson of the Board of the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC), for a period of three years with effect from 22nd June, 2017. The appointment of Taraiya Ole Kores is revoked," the notice read in part.
Kores defected from Jubilee after losing the Jubilee primaries in which he was seeking the ticket for the Kajiado Gubernatorial seat.
He lost to the former Interior and Coordination CS Joseph Ole Lenku.
However, Kores claimed that the nomination exercise was rigged accusing Deputy President William Ruto of orchestrating his defeat in the primaries.
“I won with over 18,000 votes and Mositet also won with over 40,000 votes. The leaders (Ruto and Nkaissery) didn’t want me to be the jubilee nominee for governor race because I will not be used as Ole Lenku,” he earlier alleged.
Nonetheless, Kores stated that his sacking had been delayed as he had already anticipated it when he joined NASA.
He opined that the Massai nation decided ages ago to ditch the ruling coalition.
In a report by a local daily, the former KMC Chairman mentioned: "As I have said Jubilee has its owners and those still inside from the Maasai community are yet to see worse than I saw in the party that I built from the scratch in Kajiado."
Kores noted that he was not in any way bitter over President Kenyatta's decision to fire him.
"What bitterness? There is nothing to be happy about there. Senteu is taking up that job because he has been in the cold for many years and thinks he has been given a job. I pity him for sure," he remarked.
Kores was appointed as one of NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga's chief campaigner in Narok and Kajiado counties.
In one of Odinga's campaign tours in Maasai land, the Former Prime Minister described Kores as 'biggest fish' the Opposition has ever caught in the area.
