Uhuru has promised to take care of the hospital bills of those who were injured after a police vehicle clearing traffic for his motorcade collided with a Matatu.
The President’s good will message was delivered to the families of those injured by Kisii Senator Chris Obure.
“The president has promised to clear the hospital bills of the victims and wishes them quick recovery,” said Senator Obure.
Obure who is eyeing for the Kisii gubernatorial seat on Jubilee was speaking at Christamarian Hospital in Kisii County where he had gone to check on the victims.
According to reports, the police vehicle involved in the accident was leading the President motorcade back to Suneka airstrip when it was involved in the accident.
The accident delayed the president’s Motorcade, as they had to wait until all the victims had been rushed to the hospital.
