Babu Owino causes a scene at Bomas of Kenya

The Embakasi MP left many surprised with ...

He refused to leave and told the officials at the polling station that they would be frog marched to IEBC office over the missing document. “This is not monkey business. You will see my other side if I don't get my certificate," the former SONU leader said. Fortunately, the certificate was found in a pile of documents by the deputy returning officer.

A few hours later, Babu has caused yet another seen at the Bomas of Kenya where the IEBC has set up a tallying centre. This was after he interrupted the IEBC  CEO Ezra Chiloba over a ‘burning question’ while he was giving a speech on the progress in the tallying process. This was ahead of the formal announcement of the presidential election results set for tomorrow.

The CEO then asked him if the burning question can wait until tomorrow but Babu refused and insisted that it was something that needed to be said in public. But he wasn’t given a chance to ask and he was told that if he has a burning question it can wait until tomorrow or go to the IEBC set up desk.
