The accusations were made on Thursday at an Eldoret court, where a land dispute case between the family members is ongoing.
Mr Murgor sensationally alleged that his stepmother Selina Murgor and stepsister Elizabeth Komen were using evil charms to keep his siblings from having a share of their late father’s estate.
Charles Murgor, a former Nyanza Provincial Commissioner, who is the father to the former DPP died 24 years ago.
Sorcery had been used
Philip made the claims while cross-examining his stepbrother George Murgor who was testifying in the succession case.
“Your honour my elder sister Elizabeth and her mother Selina practice witchcraft and they have instilled fear into George so that he can lie about Kalyet farm,” Philip said.
He also pointed out that the same sorcery had been used to control his father to practice polygamy.
After Philip’s contentions, his stepsister Elizabeth burst into screams out of anger which was shut down by the presiding judge.
Tempers checked
Justice Sewe warned her to control her temper or get out of court.
The properties which are the subject of contention are a 250-acre land in Turbo constituency and Kalyet farm in Uasin Gishu County which measures 1,400 acres.
Others are Chebenyinyi farm and several prime plots in Iten town.
