Murathe drops some hint bombs on Uhuru's next plan

Former Jubilee vice-chairman David Murathe

Former Jubilee vice-chairman David Murathe revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will not let corrupt officials even in his cabinet stay on board for long.

Speaking on Wednesday night on an interview with KTN's Tony Gachoka, Murathe said there were looming arrests and prosecution of top Government officials for corruption will trigger a major Cabinet reshuffle.

Murathe also stated that the President has given investigative agencies the go-ahead to probe and charge any State officers involved in graft “no matter how high their positions in the Jubilee administration. “

Heads will roll

He also said that he talked to the President after his State of the Nation address and that heads will roll anytime from now.

President Kenyatta had told the country that Government officials will cease to hold office immediately they are charged in a court of law.

Commenting on the Jubilee tanga tanga camp, Murathe said that they were busy fighting the renewed war on graft in clear defiance to the Head of State.

Plotting to ditch Jubilee

Murathe claimed admonished the tanga tanga camp for protecting Deputy President WilliamRuto who was plotting to ditch Jubillee ahead of the 2022 elections.

He is handling stolen property, but his troops are going around telling us that is nothing when he has defied Chapter Six of the Constitution that requires him to demonstrate the highest integrity," Murathe stated.

"If you can go public and admit that ‘I took Muteshi’s land and I admit I will pay him Sh5 million fine” what are you telling us?” he posed.
