Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo on Wednesday revealed that he stopped using his helicopter after it was involved in an accident.

During the interview on Citizen TV’s JKL show, Kabogo stated that the machine was grounded after it was involved in an accident.
The former governor further pointed out that he had made plans to acquire a new one.
The vocal leader however rejected to disclose the details surrounding the accident.
Kabogo's relationship with Uhuru
As part of the interview, Kabogo explained that he was no longer close to President Uhuru Kenyatta as compared to the time he was a governor.
"I'm still close to the president...I guess. The last time i saw him was the other day when I heard he was in Ndumberi and I went to meet him...he still looks the same.
"We used to chat more often, when I was within the [political] circles but now you know I am outside,” remarked Kabogo.
The politician noted that since his loss in the 2017 General elections, he took time to watch and learn politics from the sidelines.
