Uhuru makes it on Trump’s 30 Million Page

President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret made it on Trump’s Twitter profile picture after attending the 43rd G7 Summit held in Taormina, Italy.

Mr. Kenyatta was among other world leaders who took the picture with Trump, who later uploaded it as his profile pix on his twitter account which has 30.8 million followers.

At the summit, President Kenyatta represented the African continent. Other African nations invited to the G7 summit were Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Nigeria.

In his address, the Head of State encouraged the foreign countries to invest directly in African countries.

“Indeed, right across the continent, opportunities beckon. To seize them, we will have to work together. The rewards are beyond calculation. It is the time to put Africa’s aspirations at the heart of your plans,” Kenyatta said.

He also flaunted Kenya’s achievement in the ICT sector noting: “Kenya is a celebrated pioneer in ICT innovation in Africa. We have seen for ourselves the transformative power of innovation, as the Internet and mobile telephony have diffused power to networks and individuals”.
