Confirming the information the Kenya Red Cross Society, divulged that four others who were injured in the 32-seater matatu, were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
"One life lost and four others rushed to hospital after a 32-seater caught fire at Globe roundabout," Red Cross tweeted.
The Nairobi County Government firefighters contained the fire that had caused panic in the area.

There was traffic snarl on the road because of the incident.
Police stated that they had not yet established the cause of the fire but they suspect it could be due to mechanical failure.
The bus was taken to Central Police Station.
