Woman loses both legs crushed by container

An accident which saw a container fall on a young woman's legs, has left her crippled for life.

According to the reports, the young lady had been about to get on a motorcycle when the container fell and crushed her legs at Mile 2 junction in Lagos state on Saturday, 19.

According to a LIB, the bike man managed to escape without a scratch but the but the lady was trapped with her legs underneath the container.

When people came to her rescue, they were forced to cut off her legs with a cutlass as they could not lift the container off.

Earlier reports revealed that she had died on her way to the hospital but a doctor at LUTH, where she was rushed to, has refuted the claims, saying that she is in the ICU of the hospital.

This fact remains unconfirmed.
