City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has written to Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho giving him a five-day ultimatum to settle a bill of over Ksh2 million.

The letter was written to Joho by Flex Air Charters, a company that rents out entire aircraft where the Mombasa county boss was threatened with a lawsuit.

Our instructions are that the sum of Ksh.2,534,768 is outstanding on the said sums which we have been instructed to demand its payment,” the letter reads in part.

Women Rep

According to Kipkorir the company instructed him to write to Joho and Kirinyaga Woman Rep Purity Ngirici who owes Ksh5 million in arrears for hiring a chopper.

On Friday Citizen digital reported that Joho leased one of Flex Air helicopters and the cost accrued to Ksh4.4 million.

The Kirinyaga legislator together with her husband was also asked to pay Ksh3.8 million which the company claimed they owed.
