The heavy rains that have continued to pound different parts of the country with floods reported in several areas saw vocal senator Moses Kajwang come face to face with the plight of ordibary citizens.

The Homa Bay Senator together with former Kitui Senator David Musila and National Disability Board Chairperson Pret Kenyatta, were stuck in Koguta-Sinda road in Suba North constituency, after a heavy downpour in the region.

According to Citizen News, the three were headed for the burial of former Suba MP Peter Nyakiama's wife when they got stuck. Local residents came to their rescue as they tried to push the vehicles out of the messy, muddy road.

Local leaders blamed the National Government for failing to improve Road Network in Suba Region.

Heavy rainfall experienced in different parts of the country has caused landslides, floods and even death. Four more people lost their lives in Marakwet East, one in Turkana and another in Mandera.
