Raila the football commentator
The AU envoy has been known for his love of sports especially football and even admits to being an Arsenal fan and also serves as patron of the Gor Mahia football club in Kenya.
He has used his love for football to bond with his supporters especially on the campaign trail where he introduces his team as a football commentator would.
Raila usually paints his team as the stronger one compared to opponents as he picks influential figures in his lineup and points out how they mess their teammates.
This has made him beloved by many even if the speech does not address the plight of his audience.
