Ruto’s daughter, Ms June Chepchirchir, holds the high rank of second counsellor in the Kenyan embassy, Rome in Italy which could have been influenced by the DP.
Sources who spoke to the Nation, disclosed that Chepchirchir’s rise to the position was first adding that the DP could have played a part.
The revelations were made after Jubilee accused the Opposition of tribalism after Kalonzo musyoka’s son and Oburu Odinga, Raila's brother were nominated to EALA.

Jubilee led by Garissa township MP, Aden Duale threatened to block his son’s nomination on grounds that they, NASA, were making positions in EALA a family affair.
However, NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula has accused Jubilee of hypocrisy stating that they had hired relatives to senior positions in the government.
He cited the examples of President Uhuru Kenyatta's relatives Jomo Gecaga who was serving in State House and his niece Nana Gecaga who is the MD of KICC.
