Mr. Odinga draws the interest of many and the slightest update surrounding his life will definitely not go unnoticed.

There are two times this year that the Former Prime Minister has caused panic among his loyal followers after being rushed to the hospital.

On March 8 2017 the ODM party leader was rushed to the Karen Hospital after suffering food poisoning. This was after the burial of the late Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachagua at his home in Nyeri.

Confirming the reports, Odinga's spokesman Dennis Onyango noted that: “He was taken to Karen Hospital in the morning hours and treated for food poisoning and then discharged".

Interestingly the Presidential candidate was on Sunday night, approximately four months later, taken to hospital  after suffering from another food poisoining.

On Monday, Odinga's doctor Oluoch Olunya said that the politician's stomach pains were due to food poisoning.

However, Odinga's spokesman Salim Lone mentioned that he had ben given a clean bill of health to resume his normal political schedule.
