Reports said that the body of the 18 year old was found hanging in their house, in a room that is still under construction.
In a report by Citizen Digital, the Lenana School student went missing while the rest of his family watched the release of the 2018 KCSE results on TV.
According to police, investigations are ongoing to establish the reason for the alleged suicide.
The 18 year old’s body was taken to Montezuma Mortuary in Nairobi.

On Friday Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed released the 2018 KCSE results.
Unlike in the past when the CS would announce the ranking of the best performing schools, Mohamed only announced the top twenty candidates and the schools where they sat their exams.
Pangani Girls High School produced the best student nationally, the second year in a row.
