KDF officer arrested for allegedly stealing a car

A Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) officer has been arrested for allegedly stealing a car.

The officer Corporal Nicholas Kemboi who is attached to the Department of Defense was arrested in Kabete, on Friday.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) the suspect was arrested while in possession of the stolen vehicle, whose colour and registration details had been changed

CORPORAL Nicholas KEMBOI @kdfinfo officer based at the Department of Defense (D.o.D) was yesterday arrested in connection with Stealing of a Motor Vehicle. The suspect was nabbed in #Kabete while in possession of the stolen Car whose colour & registration number had been changed,” tweeted DCI.

The investigations agency further stated that another suspected identified as Eric Oduor had been arrested in connection with the stealing of the same vehicle, but was later on released on bond.

Corporal Kemboi will be arraigned in court on Monday where he will be charged with stealing a motor vehicle.

Another suspect; Eric ODUOR had already been arrested by @DCI_Kenya Detectives & arraigned. He is currently out on bond. The second accused; Cpl Kemboi, will be arraigned on Monday to face charges of stealing of a motor vehicle contrary to Section 278A of the Penal Code,” said DCI.
