Joho has said that the he is now unable to file tax returns following the move by KRA.
The KRA deadline for filling the tax returns is June 30.
According to The Standard, Joho sees the action as a deliberate move meant to ensure that he fails to file his tax returns by the June 30 deadline.
"I have been attempting to access the system online to file my returns but it's frustrating. The PIN has been suspended by KRA," Joho said.
The Mombasa Governor has also said two of his brothers are experiencing the same issue.
KRA in March sought Joho's bank transactions.
KRA wrote to the Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) asking the bank to furnish them with Joho's statement from 2011 to date.
Joho later dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to go ahead and investigate him after KRA demanded his bank account details.
He said the government wants to freeze his bank accounts to frustrate his political career.
“I want to tell KRA that I have three bank accounts one is Barclays, another is Stanbic and another is Diamond Trust. If they wish, they can shut them but that will not shake me. I was not born with money and I will not be buried with money. With or without money, I will soldier on,” he said.
