It emerged that the candidate had the same number of votes in the just concluded election with his competitor who was vying on an ODM ticket.
Both Juma Maone of Jubilee Party and Omari Hamisi of ODM got a total of 2,600 votes in Kinondo ward.
The certificate had been issued to Maone before result from one polling station had not been included in the final tally.

This decision will see the two candidate face each other in a by Election that will be organized on later date by IEBC.
