Wife reveals strange dream and events that pushed Likoni channel accident victim to his tragic death

RIP

An emotional Rose Mueni after learning of her husband's death

Rose Mueni, the wife to John Mutinda who died after his car plunged into the Indian Ocean has revealed the strange dream the deceased had minutes before his tragic death.

Mutinda told his wife that he dreamt of receiving a call from his late father instructing him to go to Mombasa central business district, where they would meet.

The claims shocked Mueni who pleaded with her husband to join her in prayers and hid the car keys so that the deceased would not leave.

Mutinds got the keys after a brief but frantic search and dashed out of their home to meet his deceased father “in town” leaving behind a worried wife.

He assured his wife that he would be back soon after meeting his father.

“He, thereafter, drove out in high speed,” the mother of three narrated to the police.

The account was supported by the deceased’s relative identified as Benedict Sila who confirmed to a local media house that Mutinda who was a clearing and forwarding agent left home in a hurry after a dream that he was being called to a meeting in town by his late father.

He would arrive at the ferry channel at 4:20 and purchase a ticket before speeding to the ramp and plunging into the ocean.
