It is feared that the number of causalities could rise.

President Uhuru Kenyatta recently directed police officers to move in with speed to restore discipline on Kenyan roads so as to tame rising road carnage.

This happened as DP William Ruto toured Bomet to launch roads in the county.

Residents have decried the poor state of roads in the county and have urged the Jubilee administration to address the issue.

Concerned residents expressed concern over the Government’s failure to fund the long proposed tarmacking of the key road from Chebole to Kimuchul.
