NASA MP shot in Nairobi

News just in.

Nairobi Police Commader Japheth Koome confirmed the incident and insisted that the killings were not ethnically driven as earlier presumed.

Locals have come out to accuse the outlawed criminal group, Mungiki, of carrying out the gruesome murders.

In protest, some residents staged demonstrations along Outering Road.

According to National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader Raila Odinga, the police were responsible for the Mathare MPs shooting.

"Mathare MP Antony Oluoch was attacked in our presence by police," he told the press.

The MP is currently receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
