Babu Owino announces plans for major demos

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has announced plans to have major demonstrations.

The vocal MP made the announcement on his Facebook page saying that he would lead his Utawala constituents in demonstrating against a contractor who was awarded the tender to construct Ring road, identified as Mr. Kang’ethe.

Babu accused the contractor of frustrating the contract adding that it would lead to termination.

“I will soon lead Utawala residents in Embakasi East to demonstrate against the contractor (Mr. Kang’ethe) who was awarded a tender to construct ring road. He has decided to frustrate the contract and this will lead to its termination. KURRA/KERRA/County Govt must do something,” he said.
