One vehicle is making history in Nairobi, and turning out to be nightmare to billionaire real estate with property standing on riparian or public land.

Whenever it swings into action with its engine roaring to life, property worth billions come tumbling down in the on-going demolitions targeting buildings standing on riparian and public land.

After a short break, the bulldozer made a come-back this morning at Taj Mall in a day that was characterized by tear-gas and heavy police presence.

The green SANY bulldozer that is green in color is quickly turning into a symbol of the ongoing demolitions in Nairobi.

Among the buildings that have come tumbling down are Taj Mall (currently Airgate mall), South End Mall, Ukay center, Java House and Shell Petrol Station in Kileleshwa.

Visa Oshwal center was spared its wrath after the management contracted a private excavater to pull down one side of the wall.
