The CS announced a government crackdown on the issuance of new work permits and revocation of those issued to undeserving foreigners.

The  crackdown is targeting more than 100,000 foreigners who work in various parts of the country.

Government records show that it has issued 34,000 work permits  to foreigners. However, hundreds of thousands of foreigners have acquired permits through unscrupulous means.
