Daystar University has been closed indefinitely after weeks of wrangles.

Students and staff in both Nairobi and Athi River Campuses have been instructed to vacate by 12 noon.

International students residing in Athi River campus were directed to report to a designated desk in Nairobi at 2 PM.

The decision was reached after a senate meeting on Wednesday.

Students and staff members have accused the school's management of corruption and mismanagement.

Speaking after the order was issued, the student's Secretary General Arnold Endovo vowed that they will take the matter to court if management does not open the institution within seven days.
