Uhuru’s man awarded Sh5 Million

He is smiling all the way to the bank.

This is after successfully suing the government over his arrest and illegal detention in 2012.

Itumbi was arrested and detained at Muthaiga Police Station 6 years ago after allegedly hacking and accessing classified documents from the International Criminal Court's (ICC) prosecution office email.

The 5 million has come just in time as Itumbi’s mum is celebrating her birthday today.

“Happy birthday Mum. Bringing up 5 boys was no joke. Yet you taught us all how to cook, speak mother tongue, milk cows, plant and harvest crops and you always find time for each of us. Live long, laugh endlessly and sit back, it is now our turn to serve you. Enjoy.” Read Itumbis’ message to his mum.
