Drama in Nyamira as MCAs demand removal of Sergeants at arms from Assembly

There was drama at the Nyamira County Assembly after a section of MCAs demanded the removal of Sergeants at Arms from the chamber.

In a video seen by Pulse Live, the MCAs are seen to be in a heated argument as they addressed the Speaker Moffat Teya over the same, as he tried to call the Assembly to order.

Nyamira County has been having leadership wrangles that saw the police barricade roads leading to the assembly premises.

Businesses around the area remained closed with heavy police presence in the area.

Some MCAs have accused the Speaker and some Members of Parliament from the region of fueling the chaos.
