The MP now fears for his life after being trailed by hit-men sent to kill him.

The NASA MP said he now fears for his life after clashing with Kajiado County Commissioner Harsama Kello.

Memusi on Thursday morning recorded a statement at the Parliament Police Station where he was accompanied by several NASA legislators led by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed.

On Monday, Memusi said Kello has abused his office, and used his 15-year tenure in Kajiado to enrich himself.

"Mr Kello has overstayed in Kajiado. He has abused his office by grabbing tracts of land in the county to develop himself," Memusi claimed.

The MP revealed that soon after exposing Kello, he received reliable information that the county commissioner called for a secret meeting after which he sent out 'hit-men' to kill him.

"Kello instructed an officer to trail me in Nairobi and shoot me. The information is with the police. This information is from a confidential source, and we are asking the police to quickly investigate this matter," Memusi added.

The MP cited past incidents where leaders recorded statements with the police fearing for their lives only for the authorities to do nothing only for those complainants to end up dead.

The Kajiado Central MP took a swipe at the Jubilee administration saying that they will continue fighting for the people and will not be cowed or threatened by anyone.

"As MP my responsibility to the people of Kajiado Central shall not be intimidated by anybody. I will continue to fight anybody taking advantage of my people. Kello has in many ways done exactly that. Kello we are ready for you! We shall not stop," Memusi affirmed.

In the meantime the MP demanded the immediate transfer of the county commissioner failure to which they will forcefully evict him from office.
