The ruling of a petition challenging his win during the August 8 General Election will be made at the Milimani High Court in Nairobi.
Divulging the information on Friday morning, Mr. Owino asked his supporters to proceed to the court of law to show their support.
“The ruling on petition challenging my victory at the High Court will be made today from 10am at Milimani law courts. All patriots are invited. God bless Embakasi East,” he said.
This comes after a day after court papers of the recount at Embakasi East showed that Mr Owino garnered 46,817 votes against 42,501 votes while by his main rival, Jubilee's Francis Mureithi.
The final vote recount tally was signed by High Court Deputy Registrars Esther Mburu and Mbayaki Wafula.
A win in vote recount is not an automatic win for Mr Owino at the court as Embu Governor Martin Wambora election was nullified despite garnering more votes during the recount compared to his main competitor Lenny Kivuti.
Mr. Mureithi filed the petition challenging the former Students Organization of Nairobi University (SONU ) leader election stating that there was massive irregularities, bribery, and intimidation of voters.
